Agencies and client sites

Working on behalf of clients

Set your role to agency on your profile. When you add a site, you can then mark it as a client site.

Other members see that the site is managed by you on behalf of a client, and that you are who they would deal with for anything agreed. The client is never named, and there is no field anywhere that would name them.

Every site is verified separately

There is no bulk import and no shortcut. Each domain is proven on its own, by DNS record, meta tag, file, or a published page.

We know this is the slowest part of using the platform with a portfolio, and it is the part we are least willing to soften. A site that appeared because it was listed alongside others is a site nobody proved, and the whole directory is worth exactly as much as its weakest claim.

If you are a reseller, the sites you list appear as inventory, clearly marked, never as verified.

The thresholds apply to client sites too

The same Authority Score, traffic and spam thresholds, unchanged.

The reason is the shape of the exchange rather than a rule about agencies. Collaborations here are reciprocal, so a site that cannot host a placement worth having is not a site you can trade with.

In practice, verify a client site that can genuinely host a link rather than your own agency page, which usually carries very little authority.

How many sites you can hold

The free plan holds one site. Premium holds fifty.

If you manage a portfolio, that is the honest constraint today, and premium is not on sale yet. There is no arrangement that gets you around it in the meantime, and we would rather say so than let you verify one site and discover the ceiling afterwards.

What you can do meanwhile

An approved account can search the directory and send requests whether or not it holds a listed site. So the part of the work that is about finding partners and opening conversations is available to you now. What is limited is how many of your clients' sites you can offer in return.
